iittala Taika Blue 10 oz Bowl

Love this bowl. I already had one from before and I ordered a second one. So now I have a pair. It’s a great size for all kinds of things desserts or soups or whatever it’s not too big and it’s not too small and I really love the pattern or the picture on the outside.

We have not yet opened the box, but we do have the large bowls and mugs in use. These dishes are truly well made and good porcelain, everything that I always expect of anything coming out of Finland. They are not made in Finland, but the fact that they are made in a foreign country does not detract from the items.

I have been slowly collecting the Iittala Taika pattern in white, blue, and red. These 10-oz. bowls were the among the last items I started purchasing, because I thought this smaller size bowl would likely not be used as much as the other pieces. I really only planned on buying a couple, perhaps to use as candy dishes. To my surprise, my family uses them all the time, and it wasn't long before I had a set of 8! They are great for a small bowl of granola in the morning, or yoghurt at lunch, or a bit of ice cream in the evening, or a couple handfuls of nuts. The Taika pattern in all colors is lovely, and while I enjoy using several different color combinations on the table at once, this white color is secretly my favorite. I highly recommend these bowls. I couldn't believe how practical this size has turned out to be!

These small bowls are great for grapefruit, ice cream, or a soup course instead of using bigger bowls. I only had a couple at first but found that I was using them a lot so I got 1 of each color.

Love these little bowls. I am usually into simplicity of design but there is something about this pattern that is appealing. I have the white bowls and added 2 of the dark and am enjoying the mix. As usual Finn Style delivers very quickly and shipping cost is reasonable.
