Hiirenvirna means Vicia cracca in Finnish, a type of plant referred to as Vetch. For what many consider to be a common weed, it is strikingly beautiful. Its tall stem climbs toward the light and is decorated with violet-colored petals. It grows all over the meadows of Finland, and is nicknamed "Mouse's pea" there because of its green, seed-bearing pods. I bought the grey and the navy pillow covers, and they are just as beautiful in person, if not more so, than online. The colors are vibrant and as pictured, and they complement a range of color palettes. I can't decide in which room to place them so I may need to purchase a couple more. The quality is excellent, as well. This is also evident in the smooth and enclosed zipper.
